Beavers is the first step on your Scouting Path and is an amazing program focused on helping your Beaver(Sr K – Grade 2) experience ‘First‘ adventures. For parents, it can be the first opportunity, outside of school, to regain an hour of your evening, guilt-free, while your kid takes on guided challenges and adventures. Whether it becomes your Beavers’ first nights away from Mom and Dad at one of our overnight adventures or camps, or first time rock climbing or experiencing a night hike, our program is built to allow our youngest members the opportunity to Share new experiences, test the waters out and start building friendships.
There is a reason the Beaver motto is Sharing, Sharing, Sharing. 🙂
Our Beaver page is designed to help our parents better understand what goes on at our meetings and adventures and try to help you continue the scouting during the week and weekends. We will go over Personal Achievement Badge Work and our Outdoor Skills Badges to help parents guide interested youth on the ways to excel on your Beavers Path through our Scouting Program. Scouting is a Youth Led leadership program where registered youth are provided the tools and opportunities to carve out their own Path on their Scouting Journey. Badge work and completing badges is an important component but completely optional.
